Today is Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. It’s a day that honors the courage of 6-year-old Ruby Bridges, who, in 1960, walked through a sea of protestors to integrate an all-white school in New Orleans.

This day is for anyone who believes in kindness, inclusion, and equal opportunities in education. As we walk together today, we’re walking for unity, for courage, and for a future where every child feels safe and welcomed.
